About
Downtown South Bend is celebrating all things Disney this month with a special Disney Downtown theme this First Fridays. We will have a Disney Character Crawl with Disney characters available at various downtown businesses for Meet & Greets throughout the evening, Disney Karaoke at South Bend Brew Werks, Disney crafts at Chicory, Disney-themed drinks at Woochi, and a special contest to win tickets to Disney's Aladdin the Musical coming to the Morris!

Visitors are encouraged to dress as their favorite Disney character to receive discounts and deals at participating businesses, including 10% off at Cinco 5 and a free hot cocoa for costumed kids at Barnaby's! Plus there Plus, as always, enjoy live music, art exhibits, dining specials, and much more. Check out all the details below!

Disney characters will be stationed throughout downtown this First Fridays in various businesses for Meet & Greets, including Belle, Snow White, Ariel, Rapunzel, and more! Bring your camera for free photos. The 2025 Character Crawl Map listing the character locations and times is coming soon!
Snowball Fight with Disney Characters
The Gridiron
4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Enjoy a good old-fashioned snowball fight on the Gridiron (fake snowballs will be used if there is no real snow.) From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. the Disney Characters will be joining in before they head to their Character Crawl locations!

DTSB has set up a St. Patrick's Photo Op outside their offices at 217 S. Michigan St. Special thanks to Ambassador Dan for bringing this beautiful photo op to life!
Headliner Billy Dorado at The Drop

The Drop Comedy Club just relocated to their new home at The Rocki Button and features amazing comedy shows every Friday and Saturday night! This First Fridays they will have headliner Bily Dorado featuring Bob Keen. DTSB will be featuring a contest on their Facebook page for a pair of free tickets to the Friday night show.

Belt out your favorite Disney tunes at this special Disney Karaoke at the Cat Lady Cafe!

Chicory will be hosting free Disney crafts, including tiara decorating. They will also have their usual First Fridays special of free beignets with purchase, and live music by Tierra Gibson from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of Disney music while ice skating at the Howard Park Ice Trail & Pond with skate sessions starting at 3:00 p.m., 5:00p.m., 7:00p.m., and 9:00p.m. They encourage skaters to dress up in Disney attire and their skate staff will be doing the same. Chicory will be having another one of their famous Crab & Shrimp Feasts for Two Carry-Out. Preorder is required. Each dinner will include a pound of snow crab, twelve gulf shrimp, four pieces of Andouille sausage, two pieces of corn on the cob, eight seasoned potatoes, garlic butter, and a crab shell cracker tool for $59.99 per order. The food will be hot on pick up, or you choose to get this meal cold and steam it yourself (they will provide instructions). Pre-order by 10:00 a.m. March 7.
