DREAM BIG DOWNTOWN

April 5, 2019

Downtown South Bend will be getting in the Idea Week mindset for the April First Fridays, where the theme will be "Dream Big Downtown." We're looking to capture the spirit of ingenuity this month, and will be hosting a “Dream Big Downtown Contest” where First Fridays visitors can submit their ideas for a First Fridays activity/experience and we will pay for the winning idea to come true (up to $1000) at an upcoming First Fridays.

We will have an expo where students from RISE (Regional Innovation & Startup Education) will be showcasing the entrepreneurial projects they have been working on – to feature the “Big Dreams” of the next generation. We'll also be encouraging people to share their big dreams for empty downtown storefronts.

Plus, as always, enjoy live music, art exhibits, dining specials, and much more. Check out the details below!

FREE PARKING

Parking (on-street and in DTSB-managed garages) is always free in downtown South Bend nights and weekends.  For full details on downtown parking options, click here
