Join us for South Bend's 5th Mural Mania! During the festival, artists will be live painting murals in locations across South Bend. Everyone is encouraged to come watch the artists paint and say hello during this 5-day celebration of public art!

Her work explores themes of femininity, resilience, and human connection, creating pieces that feel both powerful and uplifting.

Congo is a Peruvian muralist and visual artist now based in Michigan. His journey began in 2011 with graffiti in Lima, and over the past 14 years has grown into large-scale murals across South America and the United States. His work explores the relationship between nature and the urban environment, using bold colors and dynamic compositions to transform public spaces.

Kirsten Sandlin is a seasoned Memphis-based muralist who creates large-scale public art rooted in community, history, and connection. Having spent many decades painting, her interpretive murals frequently feature children to explore universal themes of hope, innocence, and understanding.

Meet the Organizer
Alex Ann Allen is a self-taught multidisciplinary muralist living and working in South Bend, IN. The primary focus behind her work is portraiture and large scale murals influenced by futuristic perspective grids. Her passion and dedication lies in creating public art that brings communities together and helps beautify neighborhoods. A few well known public works in South Bend include: The Vortex on the side of Jiffy Lube, The Gerbera Daisies on the side of Kodachrome Coffee, and the twin geometric murals on the sides of Eddy Street Apartments.
