EXTERIOR ENHANCEMENT GRANT

The purpose of the Exterior Enhancement matching grant is to provide assistance in funding well-designed building façade and streetscape improvements respecting the building’s history, original design integrity and adjacent structures and making a noticeable visual enhancement in the downtown area.

This is a rebate program, where grant recipients will be reimbursed 50% of the total amount spent on the qualifying portion of the project (minimum grant of $5,000 and maximum grant of $20,000.)

 

2021 THEME: EXTERIOR ACTIVATION

Preference will be given to exterior activations that:

  • Expand ability to use patio in all four seasons

  • Are decorative or artistic in nature

  • Have permanence (i.e. heaters installed off a building opposed to portable heaters)
