COMMUNITY ART PROJECT

Each year, Art Beat invites members of the community to get in touch with their artistic side for the day, by way of the Community Art Project.

Art Beat 2023 will feature a Community Art Project where visitors will get the chance to try their hand at screen-printing, with the chance to take home their work on paper (free) or a tote bag ($5.) The project will take place near the east Info Booth from noon to 5:00 p.m. and will feature a design commemorating Art Beat’s 20th Anniversary.  

Participation is free and open to visitors of all ages and skill levels. Guided instruction and all materials will be provided.

The second component of the Community Art Project, after giving Art Beat guests the chance to be an artist, is to add beauty to our downtown. This year's project is unique in the fact that the artwork created at the event will spread far and wide and not be limited to just the downtown area. We can spread a little Art Beat magic everywhere!
