Sunburst Races

June 1

Sunburst Races is one of the largest community events in Northern Indiana. It begins at Four Winds Field and finishes at the University of Notre Dame. The half-marathon will kick things off and the 10K, 5K run, and 5K fitness walks will follow. All events will benefit Beacon Children's Hospital. Register here

RiverLights Music Festival

Belly Burst Un-Run

This fun, 1-mile course is all about minimum movement and maximum impact! There will be donuts, pizza, and more donuts all along the way. Couches and hammocks can be found on the course if you need a break. All proceeds benefit Hope Ministries. Register here.

South Bend Pride Week

The LGBTQ Center of South Bend has worked hard to present another week-long PRIDE celebration throughout South Bend. The week will be capped off by the South Bend Pride Festival on Saturday, June 15.

Shortcakes on the Blacktop

The Episcopal Cathedral of St. James' 27th annual Shortcakes on the Blacktop will donate all proceeds to local nonprofits. Each homemade shortcake is $5 and served with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and ice cream.

Pulse FM Downtown Summer Series: Tenth Avenue North and Danny Gokey

As part of All-Star Week, the South Bend Cubs will host an All-Star Fan Fest featuring a Home Run Derby (7:30 p.m.), autograph sessions with MLB Hall-of-Famers, and special appearances by the Chicago Cubs' 2016 World Series trophy. Bacon Around the Bend 5K

Whether you run, walk, skip, or crawl, finishers will celebrate their 5K achievement with post-race bacon-themed snacks at Corby's Irish Pub. 21+ participants will also have the opportunity to toast their achievements with festive libations. South Bend Cubs Independence Day Celebration

Stick around for the biggest fireworks show in Michiana after the South Bend Cubs take on the West Michigan Whitecaps Tuesday and Wednesday night. Soiree en Blanc is an ephemeral transformation of a public space by a group of diners dressed all in white. The location is kept secret until the last moment. Kids' Triathlon

CROP Hunger Walk
