Member businesses and organizations are eligible for Ribbon Cuttings that involve the participation of the Mayor, DTSB, and any guests you would like to invite.
Generally, ribbon cuttings take place Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to best coincide with the Mayor’s schedule and with the press. The Mayor is not always available in the morning.
If the best date and time for your business does not coincide with the Mayor’s availability, particularly if the evening is more convenient for you, DTSB will still send a representative and invite a member of the Chamber of Commerce to participate in the ribbon cutting, while our Ambassadors set it up.
