an online business, multiple boutiques and a storefront in downtown South Bend. Ali discovered her passion in 2003 when she launched her own jewelry line. Now, Ali’s personal style shines through at Ali on the Boulevard where customers can purchase jewelry, apparel and gifts.

Ali on the Boulevard is open every day, but on Mondays from 12:00 p.m.- 12:00 a.m., the shop has a special treat in store: “Single Sale” featuring mark downs on best-selling products which are nearly sold out. The boutique also hosts a number of other special events including First Fridays, Ali’s Birthday Sale and Yard Sales inviting customers to stay after hours and enjoy exclusive discounts.

Another up and coming feature setting Ali’s boutique apart from the others is her love for her deaf English Bulldog, Sophie, who has inspired her to begin a non-profit organization for disabled animals. In order to incorporate this passion, the shop currently sells the Paw Print Necklace- a piece which funds go directly to Pet Refuge.

Bombay International

122 S. Michigan St., Ste 100

Bombay International specializes in providing unique apparel, accessories, jewelry and gifts from India and other countries around the world. Owner, Mariam Malkovsky, started her business in the 1990’s when she opened a booth at the South Bend Farmer’s Market where it continued until about 2015. Today, Malkovsky’s shop is a well-established store located behind the South Bend Chocolate Café.

Many of the dresses and scarves feature original Indian patterns thanks to the twice-a-year trip that Mariam takes to her native India to shop for her pieces.

After much indecision, Malkovsky has chosen to close her shop within the next couple of months to pursue her next adventure. Stop in today to receive fifty percent off Bombay International’s products.
