DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT
Amy joined the DTSB team in 2013 after relocating from the Indianapolis area. She started as the General Manager of the Ambassador Program, Amy oversaw the daily operations of parking, cleaning and safety, beautification, and outreach with a team of 20 ambassadors. In addition, Amy managed the operations of the Westside Main Streets corridors along with the Park Ambassador Program.
Beginning May of 2019 Amy entered the position as Director of Business Engagement, where she could put her people skills to work and continue to help downtown grow.
Amy has enjoyed being a part of the revitalization and growth in downtown South Bend and loves being able to help make downtown a beautiful, fun and safe place to be.
Amy earned her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Business with a concentration in Sports Management.
Your small business is the glue that continues to hold our downtown together and what makes downtown South Bend such an amazing place to live, work, and play. Like any strong unit, we have already seen people taking care of one another and reaching out to neighbors for help. And although none of these situations have been ideal, we have watched many of you pivot and find ways to “make it work” during these unconventional times. While in-person experiences may look a bit different these days, we see the drastic measures you are taking to protect the health and safety of your customers and employees; while still providing a positive experience. We realize these times have been exhausting; however, this has also been a time for all of us to come together and grow stronger and more cohesive than ever before. We will continue to support each and every one of you day after day.
