A South Bend native and graduate of Washington High School and Ball State University, Milt Lee serves as DTSB’s Executive Director.


Prior to assuming this role in the summer of 2018, Milt was Executive Director and CEO of the Food Bank of Northern Indiana for over seven years. His other leadership experiences include serving as Director of Franchising with the South Bend Chocolate Company for nearly a decade and managing the YMCA’s Urban Youth Services’ initiatives as Executive Director for several years.


Lee sites his early years of experience in mall management and marketing with Simon DeBartolo Group at University Park Mall as instrumental in helping to shape the vast skill set required to lead Downtown South Bend.
