Century Center Announces Development of Rebranding Success
July 21, 2012 — The Century Center announced today their boldest step in the rebranding of
the convention center with the launch of their revamped website, which is currently up and running. The website is just one step of the rebranding process of the center, which also
includes a new logo, one that is designed to include the promotion of not only the center, but the fabulous city in which it resides. The main purpose of the rebrand was to showcase and highlight the Century Center and the city itself and give them a more modern feel, better capturing the essence and personality of the Center and South Bend. Visit the new website at www.centurycenter.org.
The first initiative the Century Center took in refreshing the center’s look was the development
of a new logo. Adapted this spring with an entirely new design and color, South Bend has been incorporated as part of the logo itself. The goal of incorporating the city’s namesake was to
further promote South Bend as a destination for state and regional convention business. This initiative also compliments marketing efforts by Visit South Bend / Mishawaka to attract convention groups, business travel and tourism to the city.
“Users of the Center website will be happy to find that it is much more user-friendly, as this has been a request by clients in the past. The look of the website is much more visual and clean then the previous site, making it easy to navigate,” said Century Center’s General Manager, Jill Scicchitano. “One new feature that will be extremely beneficial is the interactive room finder, which allows visitors the opportunity to select event space to accommodate their next event at Century Center.
The new website was developed in partnership with local marketing firm Monkeyhouse Marketing. The enhanced website not only delivers an updated look and feel, but will also
include new photography of Century Center’s unique event space and signature events, again offering a much better insight as to everything the facility can offer a potential client or guest.
